Description
The Gray Telephone Pay Station from Hartford, Conn, circa 1900,s. with Handset and original keys
Measures 11.5" tall by 9" wide by 5" deep weighs sixteen pounds.
A different sound created when a nickel, dime or quarter is deposited. A nickel rings the bell once, the dime rings the bell twice, and a quarter sounds a gong. The coin mechanism works perfectly. Both keys are provided for the Cash box and the key at the top of the box to access the internal mechanism which are both original.
The telephone is operational and can be connected to a conventional telephone jack.
Note: The telephone does not ring but a ringer box can be added.
An excellent investment and highly desired.
Business since 1979
