The Gray Telephone Pay Station from Hartford, Conn, circa 1900,s. with Handset
Measures 11.5" tall by 8" wide by 7.5" deep
A different sound created when a nickel, dime or quarter is deposited. A nickel rings the bell once, the dime rings the bell twice, and a quarter sounds a gong. Both keys are provided for the Cash box and the key at the top of the box to access the internal mechanism.
