This painting reflects the incredible detail Lee Dubin displays in her art. There are nineteen different characters, each with their own personality as displayed by the cowboy attempting to court the saloon girl, Gabby with his beer dreaming he could be with her, the poker players each cheating including the small dog with the card under his paw and the off key banjo player. From conception to completion this incredible painting took over nine months of dedicated attention to completing what could easily be described as a movie scene. Characters were removed and replaced by others due to a conflict Lee felt they had with the harmony on the painting. The nude over the bar latter became the inspiration for Lee's painting "Evelyn"
The framed painting measures 43" wide by 34" tall. Without a doubt the most effort Lee has ever undertaken to complete this magnificent opportunity to take a peak into our Western Heritage. The more you study the painting you will note all the small details that brings this image into perspective of how incredible Lee is a noteworthy artist. The details on each character face was done with a three hair sable brush.
Without doubt the most impressive painting completed by Lee Dubin.
