Western Electric Green Thermalite Model 302 Telephone Restored 1940's

ere is a very nice, very original Western Electric telephone. 

It is the model 302 and it is in the wonderful green themalite. It was the first Western Electric telephone to be designed with out a subset  or outside ringer. 

This original red thermalite  beauty fully works and it has no cracks or chips  and has a very nice shiny finish.  

I have never seen a nicer Peking Red model. Everything about this phone is good. Some call the 302 model  the Dreyfus phone as Henry Dreyfus (1904-1972)  was the designer of this Art Deco telephone from the thirties. 

The finest telephone ever made or designed.

No telephone has ever been designed that could ever compete with the 302. 

The best working Art deco phone... a real workhorse, after the 302 model everything went in the way of being made cheap. 

Many black models were produced  but very few models were produced in this beautiful  red thermalite color.
