Description
The Steam Fire Engine 1902 is the latest of Lee Dubin's paintings. The most unique aspect of this painting is the manner how Lee features the old horse drawn Pumper painted in vibrant colors that makes it appear to be leaping out to you. The detail in the backgound is typical of Lee's ability to capture the early Americana and the exceptional detail of the Pumper. The Dalmation (with his ears flying back)
The point of interest is there are two Percheron horses pulling the steamer though three were required as confirmed by our friend Dave Hubert who has the same 1902 fully restored Steamer
The framed painting measures 35" wide by 24" tall
Painted in 2002
