An original Mills Bonus 10c Horsehead High Top slot machine with a side mint vender, circa 1940's
The entire internal mechanism was disassembled and each part bead blasted and sealed
The metal work has been chrome plated.
The body has been restored has a professional paint finish
The wood sides have been sanded and refinished
The unique feature is the additional BONUS payoff
When the letters on the reels come up with each letter of the word "BONUS" an additional 18 coins are paid off. The letters must come up on the reels in the spelling of "BONUS" for the pay off.
An additional added feature is the side mint vender which dispenses a roll of mints on each play. The concept was to avoid the gambling regulations by declaring the item as a candy dispenser vice a slot machine.
The slot measures 27" tall by 16" wide by 16" deep with an additional 5" on the side for the mint dispenser
