Description
The Buckley Cent-A-Pack Vintage Cigarette Gumball Penny Trade Stimulator from around 1930 is a rare and unique piece of American collectible history. This machine was designed to dispense cigarettes or gumballs in exchange for pennies, serving as a popular form of entertainment in the era. With its nostalgic charm and iconic design, this trade stimulator is a sought-after item for collectors of vintage casino memorabilia and history enthusiasts alike.
This vintage Cent-A-Pack trade stimulator machine is a 1930s cigarette themed penny slot with a beautiful art deco styled metal body and original paper card displaying different cigarette brands: Lucky Strike, Chesterfield, Camel, Fatima, Old Gold, and Kool. Reel displays, also paper. Despite the cigarette imagery, it dispenses gumballs, one with every spin. Machine measures approximately 12 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Glass window on side to see pennies when they fall. Rear panel has a button to drop the pennies, a window to read the spin counter too age-fogged to see through, and small spring loaded door to load gumballs without unlocking. Insert a penny, pull the arm, and the reels all turn. After the reels spin, push the knob on the front to dispense a gumball.
