Columbus model "46M", circa 1930, made by the Columbus Vending Company of Columbus, Ohio.
A one cent coin operated peanut dispenser (can also be used as a candy dispenser) with the original glass globe.
The unique feature of this dispenser is that the body of the dispenser is aluminum, though the center section is cast iron as on most Columbus dispensers.
The aluminum body has been professionally polished to give an appearance of a chrome finish
The unit measures 14" tall by 8" in diameter and weighs approximately 10 pounds empty.
