Description
An original Aviation Catalin table circa 1946 manufactured by the Bendix Radio Division located in Baltimore, Maryland
The Catalin radio is model 0526C serial number # 160199
measures 11.25" wide by 7.25" tall by 6.3" deep The catalin case is marbled green and black in perfect original condition with no flaws or imperfections.
Catalin (a brand name for a thermosetting polymer popular in the 1930s and 1940s - a phenol formaldehyde resin - like Bakelite, but a two-stage process
As noted by the attached video the radio plays well but is offered with no implied warrante
