Description
The 1896 Educational Series is, in my opinion, represents the most incredible quality of graphic design on any U.S. currency.
The one dollar note represents "History instructing Youth" serial # 458063. To the right is a panoramic view of the Capitol and Washington Monument, the Constitution on the Tablet, and names of famous Americans on the top and side borders. On the reverse are portraits of Martha Washington and President Washington.
The two dollar note features "Steam and Electricity to Industry and Commerce" serial # 14067655. On the reverse are the portraits of Robert Fulton and Samuel Morse.
The five dollar note features five females representing Electricity as the dominant force of the world serial # 34758043. On the reverse are the portraits of General Grant and General Sheridan.
All of the bill are in uncirculated condition.
Museum quality framed measuring 23" tall by 17" wide by 1 1/2" deep.
