Description

A fully restored Westinghouse Electric Model 302 telephone with a bakelite body, circa 1930. 
Because of war needs, metal was a premium and the Model 302 body was made of thermo plastic
The telephone measures 5.5" wide by 7.5" deep by 6" tall weighs 6 pouinds.
The handset measures 9" long and 3" in diameter at the mouth & ear cups. 
 
The telephone is known in the Alfred Hitchcock movie "Dial M for Murder" 
and for the "I Love Lucy Show"
 
Considered the best telephone manufactured to last forever, to be replaced latter by phones of more conservative cost resulting in poorer quality.
