Description
An original Automatic Electric pay telephone, circa 1950's, fully restored
The telephone measures 23" tall by 7" wide by 6" deep weighs 30 pounds
The chrome base is in excellent condition with the upper body with a black paint finish.
A distinct different sound when either a nickel, dime or quarter is deposited
Though original and operational, the cash box door is a reproduction and does not lock

The rotary dial emits a pulse signal which is only operational on ATT service. Alternate telephone services only recognizes a tone signal as emitted on touch tone telephones.
An adapter is required to convert a pulse signal to a tone signal to enable the telephone to call out. Adapter XLink BTTN Bluetooth Gateway
