An original Dayton Horizontal Barrel Scale , circa 1900.
Manufactured by the Dayton Computing Scale Co. Dayton, Ohio.
The scale measures 28.5" tall by 17" wide by 17" deep.

Incredibly restored featuring:
An automotive emerald green paint finish detailed with mint green pin stripping
Gold leaf detail on the barrel and center weight
All of the metal work has been chrome plated
The glass plate has a custom etch design
The ruby red "Honest Weight" and "Thanks-Call Again" light when operated
Has a swivel base enabling the scale to rotate 360 degrees locking in any position
Three month restoration with over 100 hours of skilled restoration
Impossible to find another scale representing the incredible detail noted with in the restoration
