Description
An Erickson table telephone, circa 1900's, with a solid bakelite handset with a whispering mouth piece and cloth covered telephone cord. The base is the appearance of a candlestick but with a cradle for the handset. The unique feature is the additional ear piece for another person to listen but could not speak (nicknamed the mother-in-law earpiece). The telephone measures 9" tall by 9" in diameter. Fully restored and operational. An exceptional rare telephone of museum quality investment.
