A framed set of original fractional US currency including 5c, 10c, 25c circa 1862 / 1867. During the war there was a shortage of metal. Paper currency was used for small denominations in the design of the current postal stamps. The mahogany museum quality wood frame displaying both sides of the notes. The framed set measures 14.5" tall by 14" wide. Very rare and highly collectible
